After 9 years, he came to that city. The city of a well-known person. He
fell in love with a foreigner one evening. Walked along the streets of
Vienna, the conversation went on fluently. All night. Until dawn. When the
sun touched the sculptural city of Vienna. By then they were on their way
together.
Then he left with a promise. See you again at that train station. From where
it all started. He waited exactly 6 months later, on that particular day.
But he did not meet. Those two eyes.
He saw those two eyes again. The eyes that see him hiding, but he senses. 9
years later, again. That is his city. Paris.

The beginning is their talk.
“The way to social law is open,
 Let’s start talking –
How are you, how is the family going
Etc. “

Their words flowed from the conversation to the social politics and so on.
As if there is no barrier on the subject so that they can talk about everything. But what they wanted to talk about was avoided for a while. They looked around Paris. Walk along the road. Sometimes sitting on a bench,
sometimes boating. In the midst of many words, they face that regret.
What could have happened 9 years ago? Why not? Many questions for both. Both of them went ahead but stopped at the station that morning. But time is short today. After a while, he will say goodbye to the foreigner. What else to see?

‘What if he had stayed that afternoon in Paris?’ He did not want to face any such question after 9 years. Paris left him that day. He was sitting in an
old French apartment with the guitar strings and songs of that foreigner.

“You were for me that night
Everything I always dreamt of in life
But now you’re gone
You are far gone
All the way to your island of rain
It was for you just a one-night thing
But you were much more to me
Just so you know … “
No, he didn’t go this time. He no longer wanted to have regrets. One fall
afternoon in Paris.
